The Global Campus Alumni Visual Contest invites alumni and photographers, both amateur and professional, to submit their works on “Business activity and impact on Human Rights: challenges and hopes for a better future”. The aim of the contest is to promote reflection on the multiple impacts of business activity and create hope for a future of trust and collaboration on human rights and sustainable environment.
The entry period is from the 8 November 2021 to the 8 January 2022.
All entrants must submit their entries through the Apply Section of the Contest website by 8 January at 12 pm;
All entries must include:
– a description (maximum 100 words in English) of the submitted material explaining how the image represents the theme “Business and Human Rights”;
– a caption to include the object, date, location.
Entries will be judged by nominated judges on the basis of subject, originality, and style.
By submitting photos, entrants must read and agree to the privacy policy of the Global Campus of Human Rights for the right to use their photo/s for purposes related to its activities.
Entrants may enter as many photos as they wish.
All entries submitted through the Contest website will be then also tagged with credits on GC Instagram @gchumanrights by using the hashtags #GlobalCampusVisualContest #GCAlumni #BizHumanRights;
The contest will begin on 8 November and ends on 8 January 2022 at 12 PM CET. We expressly reserve the right to disqualify any entries that we believe in good faith are generated by a so-called spam or automated email program or via scripts and automated submission. By participating, all entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules. Participants will be the 100% owners and creators of the photo they submit. Copyright of the image will remain at all times with the photographer. The photo must not contain material that violates, misappropriates, or infringes upon any law or regulation or the rights of any third party, including any copyright, trademark, or any rights of publicity or privacy, or any other intellectual property rights. Images will be used in connection to the Contest and may be used also to promote the educational objectives and activities of the GC. To promote the Contest and related events, Global Campus is granted the right to display the images submitted on social network websites. The name of the author will be always indicated. There is no entrance fee. The winner/s will be announced by end of January on the Global Campus and Global Campus Alumni Visual Contest website, GC social media and GC Instagram account.
